Web design for Regina childcare

Website Design for Childcare Centres in Regina

Regina is growing faster than either of its provincial peers, adding about twenty-seven thousand people between 2022 and 2025, roughly nine thousand a year, and its long-range planning puts the city near three hundred and seventy thousand by 2051. Child care is a flat ten dollars a day at every age, the same as Saskatoon. What makes Regina distinctive is how it is being built: new neighborhoods in regular units of about sixteen hectares and two thousand five hundred residents, designed to be walkable.

Your website is the first tour most Regina families take

Before anyone calls, most families have already walked your website on a phone, usually at night, usually between an errand and a bedtime. They are checking three things: whether you are close to them, what you actually charge, and whether there is a spot for their child. A site built for that job answers those questions quietly, without making anyone email you for basic information.

01

Lead with the growth, because it is the strongest number you have

Regina grew about twenty-seven thousand people between 2022 and 2025, an increase of about eleven and a half percent, roughly nine thousand per year or about 3.7 percent compounded. Longer range, the city could approach three hundred and seventy thousand by 2051, an increase of about forty percent, and a housing needs assessment puts the requirement at over fifty-two thousand new units. For a child care operator that is not a distant forecast, it is a near-term pipeline, and few competitors are making the argument with this specificity.

02

There is a constraint worth being honest about

Regina is outpacing its own population growth projections while facing a shortage of build-ready lots, and Saskatchewan is experiencing one of Canada's largest jumps in housing starts overall. The practical implication for child care is specific: land and building availability, not demand, may be the binding constraint on new capacity. If you are considering a second location, that is the reality. Being candid about it on your website, and about your own expansion timeline, is a differentiator rather than a weakness.

03

Use the neighborhood planning model, it is genuinely distinctive

Regina organizes new growth into neighborhood units of roughly sixteen hectares holding about two thousand five hundred residents each, incorporating street greenways and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principles. New Regina neighborhoods are purpose-built and walkable by design, which is close to the ideal environment for center-based child care with integrated outdoor play. Almost no child care website anywhere talks about the planning framework of its city. Connecting it to your outdoor space, your drop-in options and your walkability is genuinely original content, and it is true.

04

Say the fee correctly and explain the July change

Saskatchewan charges ten dollars a day, or two hundred and seventeen dollars and fifty cents a month, flat regardless of age, and the agreement extension from April 1 2026 keeps it while extending eligibility to children who turn six in kindergarten. On July 1 2026 the operator-side percentage reduction factor was replaced by a Parent Fee Reduction Grant, with a ten-hour standard day and provider-set fees above ten hours. A documented maximum additional extended-care charge of about two hundred and twenty-three dollars and sixty cents a month for an infant applies at a centre within roughly twenty-five kilometres of downtown Regina, which in a city this compact covers a much larger share of families than it would in Saskatoon.

05

Name the real neighborhoods and skip the invented ones

Harbour Landing is the official East Zone name, in the established south end near Southland Mall and Wascana Park, and it is frequently mislabeled as Harbour View online. Hillsdale is an established south end area near Southland Mall. Al Ritchie is a central neighborhood with an active community association and a real affordability angle. Cathedral is central and walkable. Douglas Park is a real named neighborhood and should not be confused with downtown's Douglas Place. Regent Park is on the west side near the RCMP depot with more modest and more affordable housing. Be careful with Emerald Park and Wascana View, which are widely searched but are not among the city's official neighborhood profiles.

06

Explain what families will never be charged for

Under Saskatchewan's Early Learning and Child Care Centre Operating Policy Framework, facilities shall not charge fees for inclusion or disability-related supports, nor for core child care, waitlist and application fees, infrastructure, mandatory donations, or routine program supplies. The enhanced accessibility grant provides up to three thousand two hundred dollars per eligible child for additional staff outside normal ratios. Stating this plainly removes a real source of anxiety for a parent wondering whether a support will cost them extra.

Regina is being built for walking, so say where you fit

A Regina parent in Harbour Landing or Hillsdale wants to know you are close before they care what your logo looks like, and in a city growing through purpose-built walkable neighborhoods, proximity and outdoor access are genuine selling points. Naming the communities you actually serve brings in families who can genuinely enrol, and being honest about your limits filters out the drive-by enquiries that were never going to convert.

01

Honest Assessment First

We start by telling you whether a redesign is right, or whether a smaller fix would serve you better. A new site is not always the answer.

Regina-Ready Build

A site built around the questions Regina parents actually ask: fees, neighborhoods, licensing and waitlists, answered plainly and verified against current sources.

03

Built to Fill Spaces

Mobile-first, fast, and structured around enrollment. Real local content, not a template with your logo on it.
